Remixes for the weekend!

Gaming shirts are linked to so often by other sites that we normally don't feel the need to post about them (unless it's a Sam & Max shirt, of course), but...

So there are currently two threads about yanking old consoles out of the closet/attic/cold storage to recapture old memories and catch up on missed ones... and while I certainly encourage these actions (especially the Walrus's Dreamcast revival), I do have one simple question for the rest of you.

Since Mr. Riley's Twilight Princess article went up recently, I thought I'd chime in with my own, incomplete, thoughts on the subject...

I'm not using this thing under the influence of alcohol, which is a rare happening indeed, but thankfully I'm being affected by another heady drug: rage.

Why is it that Microsoft can make a wireless controller that synchs with the console through a brick wall and Nintendo can't make their remotes remember to stay synched while the DAMN SYSTEM IS ON? This is the fourth time my Wiimotes have convenientently "forgotten" that they belong to the system, resulting in fifteen minutes or a half an hour of me pressing buttons in random sequence and making frustrated sounds under my breath until I hit upon some eldritch sequence that makes the damn things work again.

I love it when I'm boxing an opponent and they hit the mat... it gives me time to find my loved ones.

I am adding ... and subtracting.

We're at the halfway point and I'm getting a bit listless.

Just how does our Wii Sports bowling performance compare to our league bowling action? We intend to find out.

Do any worthwhile DVD games exist?

Because I don't like what I see.

A while ago I remarked to Mr. LeFeuvre that my favorite aspect of the DS was the 'clamshell pause' – the ability to instantly pause your current game by just closing the handheld. He quipped back that his favorite part of the DS was the fact that it played games. Smartass.

Ah, this is more like it. A video game episode that came out the day it was supposed, that downloaded without any problems, and that started up with hardly a hiccup...
