Everyone knows that games that come out on Nintendo's systems often tag the system's name onto game titles. Everything for the SNES was "Super". How many games had the "64" stuck onto the end of their names? The GBA has it's share of "Advance" games.
The DS is no different, like the predictably titled Mario Kart DS, but I've also noticed a new trend...
Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow
Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Mr. Driller Drill Spirits
Dig Dug: Digging Strike
Lunar: Dragon Song
Guilty Gear Dust Strikers
Mage Knight: Destiny's Soldier
And my favorite:
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
There's certainly a great deal of DS titled DS games, but at least some of them hide it a little better.
Maybe we'll see Mario Kart: Racing Epic Violent Ominous Laps Under The Influence Of Nitrous.

Dig Dug: Digging Strike seems a bit of a stretch unless the story involves a union. Otherwise they seem to be getting somewhat clever with their names.
Now if only they would name them in a way that would tell you what's really a part of the game.
Tetris: Damn S-Block
Duckhunt: Damn Sniggering Dog

I'm surprised they didn't do it with Kirby: Canvas Curse. They could have went with Kirby: Dream Sketch or Kirby: Dream Scribble or something.
