So tell me that someone else here saw this "cartoon".
It was created by Matt Maiellaro, one of the writer/directors of ATHF. I'll admit that I only caught the last half of it, (of a ~12 minute show). What I saw was soooo extremely strange (even considering that it's an Adult Swim show) and art that was so atrocious (also considering that it's an Adult Swim show) that I was totally unable to get into it. Here's a less biased description of the premiere:
"An Adult Swim cartoon about 12oz Mouse, who is fond of beer and caught in a world of espionage and love, and unknowingly delights in odd jobs."
Just because you can make a show in MS Paint (or whatever way-too-simple-process they used) doesn't mean you should. It emulated a 6 year old kid's bad drawings. Stuff that even your own mom wouldn't put up on the refrigerator.
From the show:
"Are you drunk?"
"... Not drunk enough."
Yeah dude, me either.
Perhaps it had a purpose behind the kitbashing of childlike drawings and the most bizzare story and dialog writing that Adult Swim has showcased so far, and perhaps that purpose was revealed in the first 5-6 mins of the show which I missed, but what I saw was a show that was just ... well... just too far out there and never quite worked. And I'm one of those rare fans of the bizarre Tom Goes.
BUT - I do want to see it again.

If it's not The Venture Brothers (or ATHF/Harvey Birdman) then Adult Swim needs to stop producing it. Seriously? In brief stints I could understand people liking Tom Goes to the Mayor, but... but this? A four year old could draw this show? *I* could draw this show?
The crap AS keeps pumping out almost puts stock in the retard anime fanboys that always trash American-made cartoons.
Of course, we have Transformers. So obviously they're wrong, because Transformers is fuckin' awesome.

Well for those not in the know (and I'm assuming Jimmerz is one of them) it seems to be a show about a mouse who is composed of two badly drawn green circles with stick figure arms. It is an affront to animation. I have a good friend/burgeoning animation/very talent person who doesn't care for Tom Goes to the Mayor because it's essentially a slap in the face to the animation community. The show looks like it takes 25 minutes in flash to slap together an episode.
Now, I'm of the opinion that that sort of minimalist style can work for you. I don't like Tom Goes to the Mayor because it sucks. The humor is weak. Someone's fat or disabled or retarded AND IT'S FUNNY. Oh look, Tom's getting SHIT ALL OVER HIM AGAIN! AWESOME!
So I would say to you that I could never hate an animated program that tried to be minimalist. I was wrong. My kindergarten drawings of the Ghostbusters protecting my family from evil spirits showed more artistic merit than this show. The shitty fiction stories I wrote about videogames with space marines and alien worms showed more writing talent.
There's only two things I can think Adult Swim is doing with this show:
1) OMG LOLZ!! IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE IT'S NOT FUNNY!!
2) It's really a big joke from their lame-ass over inflated egos. They need to stop lampooning their audience on a daily basis.

Adult Swim used to be decent but it is nothing but crap these days. Luckily I didn't see this show since I avoid watching it on Sundays. I am not an anime fanboy but I preferred the anime they used to show to like 99% of what they show now. Saturday isn't too bad but I they are rerunning a few of the shows way to often. Especially Trigun. I wouldn't mind if they dug out another older show to replace it like Gundam Wing or Outlaw Star or heck even classic Transformers. At least they finally removed Cowboy Bebop from the lineup I think.
If they want to show off the wall crazy stuff so bad they should just start a show that features some of the better flash/shockwave stuff that is available on the internet.
