However, if you live in the Chicagoland area there's one event that may be up your next-gen-eschewing alley: the Karaoke Revolution: American Idol Mall Tour hits its final stop on Saturday at the Woodfield Shopping Mall.

My understanding of the event is that you go up (all Tiffany-style), sing a few new songs from the upcoming Karaoke Revolution: American Idol game which judges and ranks you according to your ability. Then, in a few weeks, the collective eyes of the Internet will hone in on your performance to do what the Internet does best: mock & deride those just trying to have some fun.
