Formed in 2003, The New Gamer was established to provide a different critical perspective on videogames. We scrutinize the whole game, what it has to say, how the separate elements effect the player, and what each game brings to the burgeoning field of interactive entertainment. Back in the glory days of arcades and ColecoVision, lots of games used royalty-free classical music. I still associate Charles Gounod's Funeral March of a Marionette (the theme from Alfred Hitchcock Presents) with Pepper II. How far removed it that? ^_^
