I like your list, especially the aspects that will help you become a more "complete" gamer, if you will. I am going to try to get back into gaming this coming year. I haven't played more than an hour or so of video games for maybe a year and a half.

I'm still interested in playing, especially with the promises of the next gen systems, I just haven't had the time or ability recently. Using a GameFly-esque service may help me catch up on a year of missed gaming without costing me half of my income.
